Good News and Bad News
Well, I will start off with the good news. Kate has now got her first tooth and the second one is getting ready to come in. It will be in this week some time. Now for the bad news. She is not sleeping very well at all. I do not do well with little sleep so we are all hoping that she gets her teeth in quickly so we can all resume our sleeping habits. Mother hood is the greatest thing I will ever do but some times it is very trying.

Hey Kristin,
Hope you don't mind me dropping in. I am going through the same thing with Kara and she's not even teething. It's driving me crazy, I need sleep!! I hope they both quite it soon! : )
AGH! Keep your child away from mine! I don't want Dhis picking up any bad habits from Kate!!
sooo not looking forward to that!...i think that olivia has started too. but it hasn't affected her sleep just yet!!
Sometimes I wish kids were born with teeth, then I think about nursing and I think AHHH! Nevermind! I am so sorry! I hate teeth. Good luck in the sleeping department. If you want to ship her to us, we would love to take her :0)!!!
I remember the whole teathing thing and I totally feel for you. I am sorry hopefully the next ones will not be so hard on her.

Sorry to hear about the teething. I had some people tell me about "Teething Tablets" on my blog. They seem to help Brinley out a lot. They are found by the pharmacy and they are little dissolvable tablets. Wonderful little things. They might help her.
i hear ya on the no sleep thing. aliya wakes up every 2-3 hours. i thought i was working on some seriouse depression until the other night. i gave aliya some tylonal and mashed tators right b 4 bed. she slept for 8 hrs! ahleluya! i forgot what a good night sleep can do for me.
dont go crazy
Yup the teething tablets are called Hyland's Teething Tablets, in a small white bottle. They're homeopathic and can be found at most grocery stores (I know Smith's and Albertsons's for sure).
They're a dream. Maybe you already know about them though. I bet they aren't perfect for all kids, but we're 3 for 3 so far. =o)
