My mom made kate's curtains. I love them. They are so frilly and girly. Kate loves them as well.

This is the bed spread and pillow that she made to go with the curtains. Mom, THANK YOU!! Kate loves it all and will tressure it forever!

Now I just need to find a white frilly bed skirt. Does anyone have any ideas. I have looked a couple of places.

This is what I got for thanksgiving

I was making stockings for my family for christmas and had the rottery cutter out to cut the fabric and I cut my finger instead. Now just tell the truth it is awesome isn't it. Now you now were my children get there accident prone gene from.

I got eight stitches in all. My finger really hurt for about a month and now is getting really close to being all healed and it is now the middle of January. Tip for all of you out there. DO NOT CUT THE SIDE OF YOUR FINGER OFF. IT REALLY HURTS!!!!!!!!!

Paiden's Lehi fifth grade A team took second place this year. It was a lot of fun to watch him play and have such a good time. GO Paiden!!! Can't wait until next year

Paiden played defensive end on his team, he was on punt return and on the kick-off team. He loved every minute of it. He didn't even mind practicing hard three times a week. He is a quick little bugger and a very hard hitter!!!!

The kids, Greg, me and Gregs parents went on a 4wheeler ride the other day. It was so much fun. Kate fell asleep while we were on it. Paiden got to drive with Greg. Max road in the back with grandma. The beach is so much fun and very sandy!!! Kate loves the sand box at home so I knew she would love the beach.

Here are just a couple of hair do's paiden has had in the last couple of months. This one was just because he did no think I could do it. It only lasted about ten minutes before he was screaming at me to take them out.

This is the one we did for crazy hair day at school. Right when he got off the bus he wanted that thing shaved off. He is not to adventurous with his hair do's. Not that I am complaining.

Paidens book report was on a historical fiction this month. He was supposed to do a news broadcast on it. He had to do the weather and sports, a summery of the book and do two commercials that applied to that time period. Paiden had a lot of fun doing it. I had to download a new program for it and so it could probably use a little work but for the first time using it, it turned out okay. I am so glad that we are done. I can now have my life and sleeping patterns back.

Wildlife in Yellowstone

We did not get to see any bears but lots of elk. We had several that came right to the side of the car. This elk was huge. I think it was by far the biggest one I have ever seen. He was magnificent! Yellowstone

We ahd so much fun in Yellowstone. The kids were great in the car. The weather was wonderful and the sights were beautiful. I have never been to Yellowstone before, but I can say we will be going back soon. Hopefully there will not be a fire next time so we can see the whole park.

We just finished a patio in our back yard. It is so much fun. We have already rosted marshmellows out there a few times. I have found something new that I love to do!!! I love to makes dresses for Kate. It is so much fun. They are so easy to make. It takes a couple of hours to get it done but they are so cute. this one is a shirt. It looks very cute on her.

I love these apron dresses they are so much fun. She looks so cute in them. They fit her well. I was worried that they would not fit right but they are wonderfully done patterns. Easy to follow instructions.

This one is by far my favorite. I love the colors in it. She looks delicious in it. Very fun!!!!!!

My sister and I took the kids to the BYU art show for Spring Break one day and it was so cold. The kids had fun playing in the snow. Yes by the end we were all soaked to the bone. It was not very warm for Easter this year but we couldn't not have the easter egg hunt so we all put on our jackets and had a ball. Thank you mom for putting it together, it was so much fun. My children look forword to it every year!! I am so thankful for everything that christ did for me so that one day I can return with him again. I am so thankful to be an eternal family. I am so happy that I get to spend Eternity with my family. They are the greatest!!!

This is my new project. So far so good! I am really excited to get it done. It is a block a month quilting class and this is the first month.

Well this was a pretty simple project. I just bought some exsisting bumper pads and recovered them the way I wanted.

My mom helped me make the skirt. I didn't want it ruffled. I am not liking the ruffled look right now. She put some cute pleats in for me to add a little bit to it.

The only thing that was a little pricy was getting it quited. I really like the job she did on it though.

Kate is getting so big! She is now nine months old and getting around great. She now has seven teeth and loves to climb the stairs. She is walking around everything. She has such a wonderful personality. She is so easy to make happy and is very good at entertaining herself. I love her smile! She makes me smile every time I look at her!

Kate Is Feeling Better

Thank you so much for every body who helped out while Kate was not feeling well. I love all of my family and Friends, they are the greatest support I could ever hope for. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers, also for all of the blessings that she recieved. As you can see by the pictures she is feeling great and getting around just great. She is doing the scooting thing right now. I am sure it will be pretty quick and she will be crawling. We are so lucky that she is healthy. We all love her fun little personality!

Kate Stopped Breathing!!!

Well I think Greg and I have never been so scared in our lives. We went up with some family to a family cabin and we were just sitting around the fire having a good time. Kate was sitting in my lap and when I looked down at her hands they were purple. I stood up with her and started patting her back and just watched her. About one minute had passed and her whole body was blue and was was shaking really bad. I kept trying to make her smile and she was just very lathergic. Greg got up and said that we needed to get her down the mountain and to a hospital. Greg and family gave ger a quick blessing and off we went.

The weather was very cold and the roads very icy. I didn't think that we were going to get down in time to get her help. We were about half way down the mountain when she got really rigid and stiff and she was just barely breathing. What was even scarier was the fact that you get no cell phone reception up there. Well Greg said a prayer while we were driving and right after we said amen Gregs brother opened his phone and he had all of his bars on his phone. He called 911 so that they knew we were coming down the mountain.

At that point Kate was as stiff as a board and her eyes were rolled back in her head. I thought for sure we were going to loose her. Well we got down to the base of the mountain and there came an EMT. I have never been so happy to see someone like that before. He opened the door where me and Kate were sitting and he put an oxygen mask on her. The ambulance came shortly after that and we were off to the hospital. When we got there her oxygen level was at 80%. They say it is very dangerous if it ever gets under 90%. They took her temp. and it was 104 degrees. Well thy got her fever under control and she started to do much better. They took some x-rays of her chest and they were all clear. We are very blessed that she is okay. They dont really know what happened. The doctor said it was a good thing that it happened when she was awake because if it would have happened when she was asleep it could have been sudden infant death. When the doctor said that I realized then how lucky we were that she was okay. They released us to go at about one in the morning. She has a little ear infection, but other wise very healthy. I had a follow up apointment the next morning with her doctor. They said that she would be just fine. She thinks that she might have had a seizer but that they will never know for sure. It all started with the ear infection. The fever was the first sign and because we were at very high altitude her body went into to shock because of the oxygen was thinner up there. Her little body started to shut down to try to save her brain from the fever.

What I get out of this experience is to always cherish your children. You never know when something bad will happen to them. My family is so lucky to have the priesthood in our house so that when bad things happen, Greg can give us a blessing. I just want to say that I am lucky to live were I do, to have the family and friends that loves me and cares for me. I love Greg very much. He means the world to me and our children. We are so blessed to be members of the only true church. I know that Jesus Christ hears and answers our prayers, and that he knows what we need and trys to lighten our burdens if we just try to do what is right. I know that he loves me and my family and wants us to be happy. I hope that nothing like that ever happens again.

Good News and Bad News

Well, I will start off with the good news. Kate has now got her first tooth and the second one is getting ready to come in. It will be in this week some time. Now for the bad news. She is not sleeping very well at all. I do not do well with little sleep so we are all hoping that she gets her teeth in quickly so we can all resume our sleeping habits. Mother hood is the greatest thing I will ever do but some times it is very trying.

Kates first time eating solids

We decidied to give solids a try the other day to see how she would do. These are the results. She did not get much down but she sure thought it was fun to spit it back out and all over everything.

She is quite the little ham. She was so proud of her self for making fun noises with all that food in her mouth. She is getting so big so fast.

Family Vacation

We went to my sisters cabin up at Timber lakes above Heber for UEA weekend.This is Paiden enjoying his ride with his cuisin Jake on the four-wheelers

Maxwell is throwing sticks into the pond that is on there property. Him and Boston Had a blast doing that.

Paiden and jake with my brother Adam and brother in-law Dave on the pond. They had some much fun trying to tip the boat over. They like to be trouble

We had so much fun on our little trip. Thank you so much Wendy and Dave for the fun trip. You guys are always so much fun.

Our First Snow

Our first snow fo the year came on Oct. 12. It was a sunday morning and because we have very late church I let the kids go out and play in it for a couple of minutes. As you can see they really enjoyed them selves. I am not that hot on winter but the kids loved it.

Seven Blissful Years

Greg and I have been Married for seven years now. We just had our anniversary! How time flies when we are having fun.
I love greg very much, he is always so supportive. He is such a hard worker and a good example for our family. We love you Greg!
